A Delightful Dining Experience at Café de Paris, Monaco
During my recent trip to Monaco, I had the pleasure of dining at the renowned Café de Paris, located just steps away from the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo. The experience was nothing short of spectacular, combining classic French cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere.
I started my meal with a bowl of French onion soup. The rich, savory broth, topped with cheese and bread (almost like a croque monsier), was the perfect comfort food to begin the evening. The depth of flavor in the soup was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs.
For the main course, I indulged in linguine with clams. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the clams were fresh and tender. The light garlic and white wine sauce complemented the dish beautifully, making each bite a delightful experience.
To end the meal on a sweet note, I chose the famous Crêpe Suzette. This classic French dessert, prepared tableside, was a visual and gustatory treat. The thin, delicate crepes were flambéed with orange liqueur, creating a zesty and slightly caramelized sauce that was simply divine.
Dining at Café de Paris was a highlight of my visit to Monaco, offering an exquisite taste of French culinary tradition in a truly elegant setting. If you find yourself in Monaco, a meal at this historic café is an experience not to be missed.
