In the heart of Milan, a city renowned for its blend of history, culture, and innovation, the EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) Colloquium held its 40th edition. This year, I had the distinct honor of presenting my paper at this prestigious gathering, an experience that was both intellectually stimulating and personally enriching.
Arriving in Milan for the colloquium was an experience in itself. The city’s vibrant atmosphere, rich history, and stunning architecture provided the perfect backdrop for an academic event of this magnitude.
During my time in Milan, I also had the opportunity to explore this fascinating city. I visited the iconic Duomo di Milano, a Gothic masterpiece that dominates the city skyline.
Another highlight was the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. Its stunning glass and iron roof, along with its elegant shops and cafes, made it a perfect spot to unwind after the conference sessions. Here, I indulged in a delicious meal of prosciutto and melon, followed by a classic Margherita pizza. The combination of flavors, the ambiance of the Galleria, and the vibrant city life made for an unforgettable dining experience.
